Education Vermont USA is now offering THREE Scholarships (non-renewable) to study abroad in an international country or come to the United States to study at one of its member institutions in Vermont.


International Student Scholarship


Education Vermont USA is offering 1 non-renewable $1,000 scholarships for international students to come to Vermont and study at a member institution in Vermont.

Who Should Apply?

1. international students (not U.S. passport holders or permanent residents):

a. high school students
b. undergraduate students (not graduate students)
c. transfer students (not exchange students)

2. students starting school in Vermont in Spring 2018
3. students who qualify for an F-1 visa

Rules:

These are $1000 scholarships for international students who are starting at an EDVTUSA member school in Vermont in the Spring of 2018.  Scholarships are open to high school (secondary) and undergraduate university students.  Transfer students may apply.

Students must be eligible for an F-1 visa.  The student may not be U.S. passport holder or permanent resident.

The application deadline is December 1, 2017.

Students who are in the process of applying to schools are welcome to apply for the scholarship.  However, recipients of EDVTUSA scholarships must be enrolled and pay for the Spring semester of 2018.  EDVTUSA will pay the scholarship directly to the school to be credited to the student’s account for the second semester.

If the winner of a scholarship is not enrolled in an Education Vermont USA member school for the first time in the Spring of 2018 and has not yet paid for the first semester of study, the scholarship will be given to another individual.

If the winner of a scholarship does not respond to our notification of the scholarship within 10 days, the scholarship will be given to another individual.

Study Abroad Student Scholarship


Education Vermont USA is offering two non-renewable $500 scholarships for study abroad to students from a member institution in Vermont.

Who Should Apply?

1. Students planning to study abroad from one of our member institutions.

a. high school students
b. undergraduate students (not graduate students)

Rules:

These are $500 scholarships for students who are studying at an EDVTUSA member school in Vermont and will be studying abroad in the Spring of 2018.

The scholarship is open to high school (secondary) and undergraduate university students. EDVTUSA will pay the scholarship directly to the student and the student will be responsible for any taxes.

If the winner of the scholarship is not enrolled in an Education Vermont USA member school and/or cannot be confirmed as a student planning to study abroad in early December 2017, the scholarship will be given to another individual.

If the winner of the scholarship does not respond to our notification of the scholarship within 10 days, the scholarship will be given to another individual.
