Saint Michael’s has been welcoming international students to its campus and the United States since 1954. Few U.S. colleges or universities are as experienced or capable as Saint Michael’s in supporting international students and preparing them for the future. Saint Michael’s offers 30 undergraduate subjects along with pre-law and pre-medical programs. Its student-faculty ratio of 13:1 ensures personal attention from highly qualified professors.
Saint Michael’s College offers some of the oldest and best-respected English-language and teacher-training programs in the United States.
- The Intensive English Program (IEP) is for students who want to learn or improve their English. The program has five levels from beginning to advanced study.
- The Academic English Program (AEP) is designed for students who plan to study in the United States and need to improve their English. Students in both levels receive college credit.
- The Graduate Academic English Program (GAEP) is a credit-bearing pre-Master’s program for students who are conditionally admitted to our MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
- Summer Study is available for groups of students at all levels. Programs may be customized for length or content.
